Laboratory of Molecular Medicine and Biotechnology (LAMMB) - Milano
Since 1987, the Laboratory of Molecular Medicine and Biotechnology (LAMMB) has been conducting research on:
- chronic degenerative neurological diseases (Multiple Sclerosis, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases);
- ageing;
- neurodevelopmental disorders.
Over the years, skills and interests have broadened, staying in constant contact with the national and international scientific community, studying aspects of immunology, genetics, epigenetics and virology, using innovative methods to investigate the pathogenesis of these diseases.
The ultimate goal of the studies is to identify new biomarkers of risk, progression and therapeutic/rehabilitative outcome for an increasingly personalised medicine.
