The Research Unit of Istituto Palazzolo - Milano
The Research Unit of Istituto Palazzolo leads clinical research aiming at identifying early cognitive and neuropsychological markers of dementia and its prodromal stages.
The Unit is expert in:
- non-pharmacological interventions as primary and secondary prevention approach to dementia;
- defining, organizing and implementing person-centered and integrated Long Term Care models for patients with dementia.
Thanks to extensive national and international collaborations, not at least the Italian Aging Network, the Unit has a solid background in e-health solutions for diagnosis and treatment of frail older people suffering from chronic conditions and geriatric syndromes.
