Child Neuropsychiatry Research Unit - Firenze
The research activity of the paediatric rehabilitation unit deals with:
- investigating the motor and non-motor difficulties of children with cerebral palsy and acquired brain injury;
- exploring the use of new technologies to support neuromotor and neurocognitive rehabilitation;
- developping new tools for the evaluation and treatment of pediatric dysphagia.
Our pediatric physical medicine and rehabilitation services emphasize developing a partnership with both patient and family to establish a multidisciplinary personal treatment plan.
